Wireless sharing of your Desktop PC internet connection
Problem: Ability to share Desktop PC internet connection to a laptop or your iphone/htc wirelessly.
Solution: First of all you need to purchase an USB Wireless Adaptor (since there is no wireless in a pc by default), in order to share your connection wirelessly (your laptop is a must have wireless already). I purchased it from eBay for 6$.
1.Open Network and Sharing Center
2.Under "Change your network settings" choose:

3.Next choose → Set up a wireless ad hoc network

4.Give your network a name, a password (example on picture) and save this network

Removing activation in Windows 7
Faced this problem few days ago, when one update ruined my Windows activation for some reason, and i needed to activate.
A very simple solution i have found on Youtube. Download this application: RemoveWAT (1,29mb) and just hit Remove WAT - it took me 20 seconds of HDD work, after that explorer restarted. Then you reboot, and wohoo no activation present at all.
Boosting Windows 7 performance in one-two-three
The first and the most important thing to do:
- Disable system protection on all drives, and after that i advise you to backup manually.
— Win+pause break (right click My Computer → properties) → Advanced System Settings → System Protection then turn off System protection on all drives (it will boost your Windows 7 experience dramatically - Disable unnecessary services.
— Type in Run → services.msc, read the descriptions and disable services that you won't be using for 100%.
Some of my personal disabled services are: - Fax;
- Telephony;
- Offline Files;
- Security Center;
- Windows Search;
- Windows Backup;
- Table PC Input Service;
- Windows Media Center services;
- Windows Error Reporting Service;
- Windows Update (after installing all updates at a time);
Disabling UAC (User Account Control) in Windows 7
If you want to disable UAC (User Account Control) notifications, type in run msconfig then go to Tools → Change UAC Settings and press Launch. In the next pop-up window choose Never notify and press OK.
The procedure is very similar in Windows Vista, so i hope you can handle it.
Disabling Action Center in Windows 7
If you are absolutely exhausted reading messages popping up from your Action Center in Windows 7 i will probably help you today.
Go to Action Center (Open Action Center), on the left side on the very top - click
To completely turn off Action Center → click Turn system icons on or off here:
![]()
In the next window find Action Center and choose off, then hit OK.
Wrong characters in application installations
Many of you probably were facing the problem, when you install a game or a software you can't read what is written there. It ussually happens when the application is not in english, but in your native language, for example russian.
To fix that in Windows 7 open Control panel, then "Region and language". Go to administrative tab and change system locale under "Language for non-Unicode programs". You should change it to your native language you should be using more often. After changing that you should restart to apply changes.
In Windows XP go to Control panel, Regional and language options.

Windows automatically restarts
I would like to describe this most common problem for windows users, solution is very simple. This hint probably shall save a lot of nerves and energy of people fighting this problem. If you don't know still i will tell you! This case is actually very common with windows XP, but i advise you to do it on all windows versions just in case.
So here we go:
In Windows 7: Right click "Computer", select properties (or press "win+pause/break"). Then go to "Advanced system settings" then click "Advanced" tab, choose Startup and Recovery Settings. Uncheck "Automatically restart check box under System failure. Click OK several times. That's it!
In Windows XP the process is almost the same. In Windows Vista it is actually the same.
